Which is the best fabric for skirts, polyester or polyester?

Polyester and polyester fiber have their own advantages and disadvantages, the specific choice depends on the use of the scene and personal preference.

Polyester (PET), also known as polyester fiber, is a synthetic fiber made from the polycondensation of organic dibasic acids and diols. Polyester has high strength, good elasticity and heat resistance, making it suitable for a wide range of clothing and decorative items. Its advantages include good wrinkle resistance and shape retention, firmness and durability, not easy to deform, and good electrical insulation properties, sunlight resistance, friction resistance, no mold and moth and other characteristics. The disadvantage of polyester, however, is that it has poor dyeing properties and usually needs to be dyed with dispersive dyes at high temperatures or in the presence of a carrier.

Polyester and polyester are actually different names for the same material, so their properties are essentially the same. Polyester fiber can be blended with cotton, wool, silk, hemp and other natural fibers to make a variety of colorful, easy to wash and easy to dry imitation wool, imitation cotton, imitation silk, imitation hemp fabrics for men and women's shirts, outerwear, children's clothing, indoor decorative fabrics and carpets and so on.

When it comes to fabric selection for skirts, polyester is a good choice if you're looking for durability and wrinkle resistance; polyester may be more suitable if you want the fabric to be soft and easy to wash. Through blending techniques, the benefits of both can be combined to create a more comfortable and durable skirt fabric.
