What is the best density and count of the fabric?

Higher density and count of a fabric usually means a better quality fabric, but not absolutely.

Count
Count refers to the length of 1 gram of yarn that can be pulled out, the higher the count, the finer the yarn, the softer the fabric feels. Generally speaking, 40-60 count fabrics belong to the low-grade, 60 or more belong to high-grade fabrics. Home bedding usually choose 40-60 count is enough.

Density
Density refers to the number of warp and weft yarns per square inch. The higher the density, the tighter the fabric, the softer the touch, the better the durability and the greater the dimensional stability. Typically, fabrics with 300 or more threads are considered high density.

Advantages and disadvantages of high-count, high-density fabrics
High count, high density fabrics usually have a better hand feel and comfort because the yarns are finer and more tightly arranged. However, high count and high density does not always mean better quality, and several factors such as yarn quality and usage scenarios need to be considered when choosing. In addition, high-count, high-density fabrics are technically more difficult to manufacture and are usually more expensive.
